YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITES

Within the project team, you are able to take the lead on all or part of the following responsibilities:

• Lead and execute commissioning/installation activities either onshore or offshore for HVDC related systems, substations and converter stations/platforms.
• Review design documents, specifications, and installation reports to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct functional and performance testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics of HVDC equipment, transformers, switchgear (GIS/AIS), protection systems, and control systems.

YOUR ASSETS TO SUCCESS

You possess knowledge of tools/languages in the following areas:

• Proven experience with commissioning HVDC systems, substation equipment, and electrical testing tools.
• Familiarity with HVDC & Substation Simulation Softwares.
• Experience working with SCADA systems for monitoring and control of HVDC and substation operations.

You also demonstrate the following soft skills:

• Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Ability to quickly identify issues and come up with effective solutions in challenging and high-pressure situations.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in performing tests, ensuring compliance with specifications, and identifying discrepancies.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in dynamic environments with changing schedules, client requirements, and site conditions.

YOUR PROFILE & PERSONALITY

You have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant diploma (HNC/ HND) and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

You have a strong passion for complex projects and problem-solving. Your curiosity and technical expertise are evident in both your professional and personal endeavours. You are open to questioning yourself and constantly seeking improvement.

You take initiative, execute projects, and fulfil commitments. You challenge your methods and ideas to surpass yourself and achieve a high level of excellence. Whether your drivers are technical, financial, or human, your value will be recognized based on your performance and/or that of your team.
