Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join our Swiss team and contribute to high-tech projects in the medical field. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience programming automation systems, particularly Rockwell and/or Siemens PLCs, and is passionate about advancing life sciences through innovative engineering solutions.

Your Responsibilities

-Design, develop, and optimize automation solutions for systems used in Pharma, MedTech, Biotech, or Medical Devices

-Program and troubleshoot Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and/or Siemens PLCs and HMI systems

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process, validation, and quality engineers

-Support installation, commissioning, and qualification of automated systems

-Maintain documentation in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements

-Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization initiative

Your Profile

-Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation, ideally in regulated environments (pharma, biotech, MedTech, or medical devices)

-Strong programming skills in Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and/or Siemens PLCs

-Experience in GMP-compliant environments and system validation is a strong asset

-Project management experience is a plus

-Knowledge of or interest in robotics is a plus

-Fluent in English,German and/or French is an advantage

-Willingness to travel within Switzerland for on-site project support
