Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and coordination of civil infrastructure works, particularly related to structures and bridges within a railway context. This includes project preparation, regulatory submissions, stakeholder engagement, and potential follow-up during the execution phase.

Key Responsibilities

-Development of infrastructure project documentation for regulatory approval

-Preparation and submission of the Plan Approval Procedure (PAP) file to the Federal Office of Transport (FOT)

-Coordination with local stakeholders, authorities, and residents (primarily German-speaking communities)

-Potential oversight of project execution depending on availability and interest

-Representation of the project at public meetings and with regulatory bodies

Required Experience

-Solid experience in civil engineering project management, ideally in railway or transportation infrastructure

-Background from an engineering consultancy or as an owner’s representative

-Strong understanding of Swiss regulatory processes (FOT, PAP) is a plus

-Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with multilingual stakeholders

-Languages: Fluent in French and German; English is an asset
