JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of the development of our activities in the canton of Vaud, we are looking for a Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer (M/F).
Reporting to a technical manager, your main responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
Design and develop analog and mixed-signal electronic boards from architecture to validation
Define hardware architecture and technical requirements aligned with system constraints
Perform schematic design and component selection
Manage PCB design and layout follow-up using Altium
Conduct board bring-up, debugging, testing, and validation activities
Ensure full lifecycle development from design to industrialization and transfer to production
Write and maintain high-quality technical documentation (design, validation, manufacturing)
Collaborate closely with RF, system, software, and mechanical teams
Contribute to technical decisions and trade-offs to ensure system performance and reliability
Participate in continuous improvement of hardware development processes
YOUR PROFILE
You hold a Master’s degree in Electronics or equivalent and have significant experience in hardware development.
Requirements
Strong experience in analog and mixed-signal electronics
Proven experience in end-to-end electronic board development
Solid experience with PCB design tools, especially Altium
Experience in industrialization and production transfer
Ability to work in high-performance and regulated environments (aerospace, space, automotive, medical, etc.)
Good understanding of hardware development constraints (performance, reliability, manufacturability)
Autonomous and proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and international environment
Nice to have
Experience with RF, antenna systems, or high-frequency electronics
Experience in satellite communications or aerospace environments
Exposure to complex systems with strong reliability constraints
Languages
Fluent English is mandatory
