Role Overview

The Field Engineer Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating on-site engineering activities in oil and gas projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and technically compliant execution. This role leads a team of field engineers, provides technical support during project execution, and acts as the key liaison between field operations and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the field engineering team across all project phases (commissioning, start-up, operations, maintenance).
• Ensure field activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety/environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to align field operations with project schedules and objectives.
• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshoot engineering issues on-site.
• Oversee and ensure the proper completion of technical documentation, field reports, and punch lists.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure quality execution.
• Participate in and promote HSE meetings, toolbox talks, and safety initiatives.
• Ensure implementation of operating procedures, quality assurance systems, and field engineering best practices.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related discipline).

• Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
