We are seeking a High Voltage System Engineer for our client in automotive sector in Turin.
The High Voltage System Engineer coordinates multiple technical domains within e-powertrain development and is responsible for delivering advanced HV electromechanical and mechatronic systems for series production. The position oversees the system-level layout, design, integration and validation of e-powertrain components and related functionalities.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development of HV E/E systems within e-powertrain projects for series production.
Manage system-level design, integration, and validation of HV components and functions.
Ensure consistency of technical requirements and specifications.
Define hardware and software system targets and monitor validation progress.
Identify issues and implement corrective or preventive actions (e.g., change management).
Ensure system quality and integrity, coordinating with cross-functional teams (development, purchasing, production).
Monitor project costs and budget.
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
Strong knowledge of:
HV electromechanical/mechatronic systems and e-powertrain components (battery, power electronics, converter, charger, fuel cell).
Requirements engineering and lifecycle management.
E/E architecture and system integration at HV level.
HV system validation and series development processes.
Good knowledge of:
Electronic circuits and HV schematics.
Homologation and product compliance requirements.
Electric energy management at system level.
CAN (SAE J1939, CAN 2.0B, ISO 11783) and LIN protocols.
E/E interfaces (analog, digital, PWM, H-bridge) and V-model development process.
Basic knowledge of:
Functional safety standards (ISO 26262, ISO 13849, ISO 15998) and risk analysis.
